How to best use maps with Glide

What is it:

Doomsday Snacks during Covid-19

What did I learn:

1. Glide apps product feature - Maps - Glide does a great job of making it very easy to integrate maps into the UI of your project. Because of the mobile first view, it makes for an immediate engaging UX when you land a user on a map for the first screen. Kurt does that here by keeping the UX very simple and keeps the user focused by landing them directly on the map.

Caveat though, this projects focus was just LA. Because it was local this makes a lot of sense to use the map as a starting point. It is just the right size geographically that its not overwhelming looking at a full globe of data points.

From there as user can search and look for a place to get a snack - fitting with the theme of Doomsday snacks during the pandemic.
