Maker Insight: "Why she built on Bubble: “As a non-technical founder, the Bubble platform feels intuitive to work with and the support community is extensive and generous,” said Jaime-Jin. “It gave me peace of mind that I can go in and make changes myself as needs arise, and not have to rely on an outside dev team.” https://bubble.io/blog/no-code-coronavirus-apps/
I spent 1,000+ hours talking with 150+ No-code Founders, who have generated millions of dollars with their businesses without actually writing code.
How are they doing it?
I spent years researching and building on what they do. I wrote The Lean Side Project so you can build and launch your product.
Wiggle Room - securing child care made simple
Why she built on Bubble: “As a non-technical founder, the Bubble platform feels intuitive to work with and the support community is extensive and generous,” said Jaime-Jin. “It gave me peace of mind that I can go in and make changes myself as needs arise, and not have to rely on an outside dev team.” https://bubble.io/blog/no-code-coronavirus-apps/
1. Product Strategy: Pivoting during time of the pandemic. How did Wiggle Room respond and use no-code to help?
The situation:
"Wiggle Room was conceived to facilitate matches between working parents and child care volunteers. But in the past month, (when Covid hit), Lewis has revised her mission. She is now focused exclusively on helping essential workers find care."
She said "If a desk team were to spend weeks building an app for us, we'd likely be planning for a scenario that would be obsolete by the time we put it into the hands of parents, Lewis said. "Bubble has enabled us to implement our ideas in a fast-changing landscape."

The way she has implemented this is on Wiggle Room's webpage, once you click through it lands on a page with an Airtable form embeded. Because it is just a page with the form, the form looks native. This form then allows Jaime's team to pivot quickly and manage their pivot in care for the pandemic.
Because of no-code she was able to maneuver quickly.
2. No-code Tool Feature: Airtable forms - Has the ability to enter date and times data into the form, pre-formatted.
I haven't seen this data entry before as a use case, so I thought it was interesting to call out. The reason is, you could use this for many downstream workflows and set triggers in Zapier to send messages, reminders, to follow up by a certain date so that a task is done or doesnt expire.
3. Product Strategy: Use no-code to spin up a side project to help with your cause and just do the right thing: https://www.workersneedchildcare.org/care-together-nyc
This project was facilitated by Wiggle Room and they raised money to help essential workers pay for their increased costs for child care because school was now remote.
