Per Dimitris here are some awesome advantages: "The advantages are that it’s free a way to build websites, it’s extremely easy to create any type of page you like (fully customisable), it’s also very easy and fast to edit the pages (probably the easiest way to edit a website I have ever seen)"
If you're already using Notion, it saves you time from learning another tool and it has built in ability for a custom domain. The second advantage is costs. Instead of paying for another tool you can use Notion. This is a great way to go if you are looking for both of those criteria. Lastly, it also has built in ways to collect information integrating wtih Airtable at no additional cost.
One disadvantage is you'll not have as much flexibility as other more web page builders. But if you are looking to just create a minimal landing page this may be for you.
Also a great resource to use is fruitionsite.com to learn how to build websites with Notion.
I spent 1,000+ hours talking with 150+ No-code Founders, who have generated millions of dollars with their businesses without actually writing code.
How are they doing it?
I spent years researching and building on what they do. I wrote The Lean Side Project so you can build and launch your product.
Build a multi-page website on notion

1. No-code tool feature: Fruition site - If you're building with Notion there are some great resources our there: https://fruitionsite.com/ is one and also https://www.notioneverything.com/ by another Maker in this database, Valentine Geffory. As well as super.so by Traf.
Notion is an interesting product and many like it if:
1. You're already got an account and used to the product
2. Want to make a website but don't want to go through the hassel of using a website builder that is often bloated with things you don't need.
However, there are some negative things about Notion that I think you should know about. The speed for notion sites aren't great. Carrd for example is one of the fastest loading website builders available (this was done from another SEO resource).
Also there are some UI limitations that make it less high end or polished. I think that if you were creating a website you need to think about who are your users and what is their expectation. If they are non-tech their tolerance for something like a basic webpage might not be met with Notion. Notion is still really cutting edge for websites, unless you have a real specific reason to use it I would use something that is tried and reliable.
2. No-code tool feature: Notion - building a multipage website. If you are building a multipage website, what is your goal? If it is multipage why are you trying to make it multiple pages. Because the main goal that I have experienced with multipage websites is for SEO. How does Notion track for SEO?
I don't know the answer to this. And I think that if you are investing so much time into your product if you ignore SEO, you will reduce your foundation and long term success.
Carrd is great for single web pages. But multi-page websites my recommendation is to go with something that is built for SEO and long term benefits like WordPress.
3. No-code tool feature: Notion and Airtable. I think this is really interesting tutorial that can help you use Airtable as a CMS for the content on your Notion site. What is great about this is, Airtable can integrate with Notion at no cost: "If you're already using Notion, it saves you time from learning another tool and it has built in ability for a custom domain. The second advantage is costs. Instead of paying for another tool you can use Notion. This is a great way to go if you are looking for both of those criteria. Lastly, it also has built in ways to collect information integrating with Airtable at no additional cost. "
A great use case for using these tools if you already have your data in Airtable, then using Notion to display it in a more UI friendly manner is an upgrade from just using Airtable base as your UI.
